established in 1965 and is the most affordable preschool in the Seacoast area.

Stop by its our new
location at St. George’s Episcopal
Church in Durham to check it out
for our
open house on March 20th from 9:30 – 11 a.m. (originally planned for March 13th, but postponed due to snow date).

Kids will have a chance to do a craft with our teacher, Brenda Nye-Power.

As a cooperative preschool, operating for almost fifty years, parents have the rare opportunity to be a part of their child’s education. In addition to our a full time teacher, Brenda (who’s served as the school's teacher for 19 years), every parent has a chance to be the parent-teacher, while his or her child is the star of the day. Our teacher is in the classroom every day and teams with one Parent-Teacher in the running of class. each day. The Parent-Teacher also helps set up the classroom in the morning, provides a healthy snack for the group and prepares the classroom for the next day. As your child enjoys the special role of "helping child" and sharing their day with you, you will have the opportunity to be a part of your child's education and get to know their new friends.

We have openings for both three and four year-olds, every weekday from 9 a.m. until noon.  Class days focus on nature, story-times, play, and several field trips throughout the year. Acorns (three year olds) usually attend on Tuesday/Thursday, while Mighty Oaks (four-year-olds) attend Monday/Wednesday/Friday. For more information, http://greatbaycoop.org/.
