Opening Date Set for New Yogurt Shop

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is scheduled to open in downtown Exeter by the end of the month, according to a company official.

The chain, which runs more than 150 shops across the country, will open at 130 Water Street across from .

Workers are currently renovating the space. Orange Leaf Director of Public Relations Meredith Lynn said the shop should be open by the end of September.

Orange Leaf will replace Hannah's Fine Foods, a deli-style market that recently closed.

The new yogurt shop will be one of several dessert-themed shops in downtown Exeter. Others include and .

Orange Leaf is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop. Customers choose their own flavors and toppings, and are charged using the "weigh and pay" system.

Orange Leaf has more than 60 flavors, and each store has 16 flavors available at a time.

Orange Leaf got its start in California in 2008, and is now based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
