'Original Screenplay' Now Part of Exeter High Student Sex Assault Probe

An "original screenplay" is now part of an ongoing investigation into a possible student sex assault at Exeter High School.

Superintendent Michael Morgan did not release more details about the screenplay, but did say it "may be viewed by some as controversial."

Police are currently investigating three teachers in relation to the sex assault, which they said happened in 2009. Two of the teachers have resigned; the third remains out on paid leave.

Police have not filed any charges so far.

Below is a statement from Morgan on the case:

As you may be aware, Exeter High School has been the focus of current news reports regarding the alleged unprofessional conduct of three faculty members.

At this time I am confirming that two of these three teachers have resigned and that an internal investigation continues on the third teacher.

Protocol mandates that investigation information be shared with the New Hampshire Department of Education and local law enforcement officials.  That has been done and those agencies are conducting their own investigations in these reported matters.

As part of the SAU investigation an original screenplay was discovered.

Reportedly this manuscript has been shared with the media and may be viewed by some as controversial. You may hear more about this matter which I am not at liberty to discuss at this time.

Although this is an ongoing, confidential, personnel investigation, please be assured SAU officials will make every effort to provide accurate information when possible.
