Outgoing Stonyfield 'CE-Yo' Gary Hirshberg Coming to Exeter

He will appear at Blue Moon Monday night.

Gary Hirshberg, who announced earlier this month he will step down as "CE-Yo" of New Hampshire-based Stonyfield yogurt, is coming to Exeter Monday.

Hirshberg will speak at the restaurant Jan. 23 at 6:30 p.m. to talk about sustainable food production. His appearance kicks off the local "Food and Health Forum" series, a venture between Blue Moon owner Kathy Gallant and nutritionist and health coach Tracey Miller. More information about the series can be found here.

Hirschberg founded the yogurt company in 1983. He hand-picked former Ben & Jerry’s ice cream CEO Walter Freese to replace him Jan. 23. Hirshberg will remain with Stonyfield as its chairman.
