Pair of Fugitives Caught by Marshals

Report: Kristin Gates was found hiding in a closet in Dover, Branden Rabideau violated parole; was arrested for theft in Exeter in 2015.

CONCORD, NH - Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested two Strafford County fugitives reportedly hiding out in a Dover apartment, according to an alert.

Kristin Gates, 27 and Branden P. Rabideau, 28, both of Dover, were arrested on May 10, 2016, by marshals.

Gates was allegedly found hiding in a closet, according to marshals. She was arrested in March on possession charges, including meth, heroin, and cocaine, as well as driving charges, but reportedly violated bail.

Rabideau was arrested in October 2014 and later, convicted for possession. However, he was wanted on a warrant for violation of probation and was charged with stealing from cars in Exeter last year.

Both Gates and Rabideau were transported to the Strafford County Jail where they will be held without bail, pending a hearing in Strafford County Superior Court.

Members of the Marshals Fugitive Task Force included Deputy Sheriffs from Strafford, Rockingham, Belknap and Hillsborough Counties, NH Department of Corrections – Probation and Parole, as well as deputy U.S. Marshals.
