12 year old Lucas Currier from Newfields has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a fatal genetic disorder with no treatment or cure. But there is a new drug that has shown great promise in clinical trials for treating DMD. The FDA was all set to put the drug on the fast track for approval, but changed its mind without explaining why. In the meantime, boys are dying from this disease. Please go to www.theracetoyes.org and sign a petion urging the FDA to change its mind! Lucas' life depends on it. You can see his story on the 3/14 broadcast of WMUR news or read it in the 3/11 issue of The Exeter Newsletter.
