Phillips Exeter Academy Goes Bottle-Free

last month did away with all plastic water bottles on campus in a sustainability initiative.

Instead, the prestigious private school installed water fountains around campus where students and staff can fill up cups and reusable water bottles.

The effort was organized by the school's Sustainability/Environmental Stewardship Office. it was done in conjunction with World Water Day.

Under the new program, bottled water will no longer be sold at the school's "Grill," bookstore, vending machines, or served at any events on campus.
