FBI Investigating UNH Bomb Threat Hoax

A bomb threat to the University of New Hampshire Tuesday had local law enforcement officials on high alert.

The threat, which authorities determined to be a hoax, was made to the general campus via phone, according to a statement on the university website.

Authorities sent out alerts through a campus-wide notification system.

The threat came on the same day Princeton University in New Jersey evacuated its campus after threats were made to specific buildings.

UNH Police and FBI are continuing to investigate the hoax.
