Overdose Death Arrest Mirrors Exeter Cases
A local woman faces a hefty prison sentence after she allegedly sold heroin to a 22-year-old who died of an overdose.
A Portsmouth woman could face a length prison sentence after police said she sold heroin to a 22-year-old who later died of an overdose.
Jennifer Landry, 41, of 309 Oriental Gardens in Portsmouth, is being held on $50,000 bail following the death of Svetlana Filippenko. Police have said Landry could face life in prison.
Landry's situation is similar to a 2011 case involving the death of an Exeter woman. In that case, Epping resident Lorant Diosi was sentenced to eight to 20 years in prison for providing narcotics to 26-year-old Danielle Rock, of Exeter. Rock died of an overdose.

Landry's case also mirrors a 2008 case involving Eric Mansfield, formerly of 4 Allard St. in Exeter. Mansfield was sentenced to five to 15 years in prison for providing narcotics to 21-year-old Sarah Sawicki, of Durham. Sawicki died of an overdose.
Dioisi and Mansfield were charged with dispensing a controlled drug, with a death resulting. Landry has been charged similarly.
