On our Facebook page, we got dozens of suggestions asking readers what should replace Friendly's. Most said they would like to see a Five Guys, which operates dozens of locations across the country.

Five Guys runs four New Hampshire locations in Nashua, Manchester, Keene, and Derry, respectively. It opened the Nashua and Manchester ones in 2010 with the help of the state's Economic Development office, which provided assistance on how the chain could take advantage of a tax credit program.
Exeter Patch left a message with a Five Guys spokesperson yesterday, but it was not returned.
