Red Sox Offering $5 Beers in April

The team is offering several deals on concessions.

After a disastrous 2012 season, the Boston Red Sox this year are trying to woo fans with several deals on concessions.

According to Boston.com, the deals—which are good for April home games—are as follows:

  • Beers will be $5. Typically they are about $8
  • Hot dogs will be two for the price of one
  • Kids under the age of 14 can get a free hot dog, crackers, and a juice box before the third inning
  • Hot chocolate will be $2, down from $4.25

Team Chief Operating officer Sam Kennedy said the deals are to "thank our fans for their incredible support and commitment."
