Register to Earn an Adult High School Diploma at Exeter Adult Education

The Exeter Adult Diploma program is now registering students for the Winter/Spring semester classes.

The Exeter Adult Diploma program is now registering students for the Winter/Spring semester courses that begin soon. This program is designed for students who did not complete high school but who would like to earn a diploma by taking courses in the evening similar to those taken by high school students. Classes are small and are offered Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Adults interested in this program should call the Adult Education office ASAP at 603-775-8457 to arrange an appointment. Prospective students are asked to bring a copy of their high school transcript and certificates of any other training in order to evaluate how many credits they have already earned. In addition, older students may also qualify for work experience or military credits.

The selection of courses this semester includes: Mondays – Biology, Real Life Math, Technology & Communication and English. Wednesdays: Developing College Reading Skills (English) at Great Bay Community College. Thursdays – Chemistry, Algebra I, Energy & Motion and Global Human Rights. Limited scholarships are available thanks to the generous support of the Exeter Rotary Club and Exeter Lion’s Club.

These courses are also open to adults who have completed high school but who also would like more background in a given subject area. Many adult students take these courses to prepare themselves for college courses. Anyone interested in taking courses in the Diploma Program should call as soon as possible, as these classes have limited enrollment, and pre-registration is required.
