The Union Leader newspaper reported today the buyer of Exeter's Ioka theater earlier this month is Alan Lewis.
Lewis is the head of Boston, Mass.-based Kensington Investment Co. He's also a philanthropist, as he runs the Grand Circle Foundation, which helps developing countries around the world.
Lewis the Ioka for $600,000 – nearly double its assessed value. A representative for him said he plans to turn the Ioka into a community theater.
