Reward Handed Out for Arrest in Brutal Poker Room Attack

Bryan Lisio is accused of beating up a 64-year-old man.

The Crimeline for the Hamptons paid a cash reward last week for information that led to the arrest and indictment of Bryan Lisio of Hampton, the man police believe is responsible for a brutal robbery and attack at The Poker Room in January.

 on charges including armed robbery and second-degree assault.

Police said on Jan. 31, Lisio waited in the parking lot of The Poker Room as a 64-year-old man got out of his car. Lisio—armed with a handgun—attacked the man, beating him over the head, strangling him, and demanding money, according to court papers.

During the struggle, the victim said he heard Lisio's weapon go off at least four times. The victim said he told Lisio he was having a heart attack in an attempt to stop the struggle.

The reward like the one paid out in the Lisio case are cash rewards up to $1,000 that are approved by the Crimeline’s board of directors after reviewing a request from a local police liaison. The tipster in all cases has complete anonymity and is only known by a one police liaison that provides the rewards to the sources.
