The Sanborn Regional Drama Troupe Presents 'The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940'

Support Sanborn Drama Troupe in Kingston, NH and come out to see "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" by John Bishop, Nov. 13-16.

About the play: The events take place in the library of Elsa von Grossenkneuten’s remote mansion in New York in 1940. Elsa has assembled a group of theater and movie people to a backer’s audition. The plot of this whodunit murder-mystery twists and turns—even through the very passageways of the mansion—as an eccentric cast of theater and movie people try to figure out who is killing them one by one. The plot thickens as bodies drop, and characters falsely accuse each other of being the dreaded “Stage Door Slasher.” “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940” by John Bishop is a hilarious murder-mystery (despite the title, it is not a musical) that is certain to keep the audience in stitches the entire evening!

Performances will be held on Thurs., November 13 at 7:00 p.m.; Fri., November 14 at 7:00 p.m.; Sat., November 15 at 7:00 p.m.; and Sun., November 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Sanborn Regional High School, 17 Danville Road in Kingston. Tickets are $6.00, free for students and military.
