Seacoast 5K, Followed by Chili/Beer Fest Saturday

The first-ever Memorial Bridge 5K Road Race will be held Saturday in Portsmouth.

Online registration is $21 per person. The race starts at 10 a.m.

"The crossing of the newly completed Memorial Bridge will be a symbolic way for the community to welcome back the beloved city icon," race organizers said.

After the race, the 24th annual WHEB Chili Cook-off will be held at Strawbery Banke next door. Redhook beer will be served. Tickets are $15. If you register for the road race, you get a free drink ticket and the ticket price is reduced to $10.
