Seacoast Kids Learn About Bus Safety

The Safety Dog Bus Tour stopped at the 15th annual Touch-A-Truck fundraiser last Saturday.

Seacoast kids got to learn about school bus safety this past weekend when the Safety Dog Bus Tour came to the 15th annual Touch-A-Truck fundraiser (benefiting the Richie McFarland Children's Center).

Students got to explore a First Student bus, “Walk the Yellow Carpet,” pose for a photo with Safety Dog, the safety mascot for First Student, sign a safety pledge, and leave with a bag full of goodies.

Parents had an opportunity to learn why school buses are the safest way to transport their children to and from school. They saw firsthand how First Student buses are designed for safety inside and out.
