Pre-sale orders of The Final Curtain through Water Street Bookstore have come from across the United States and as far away as Australia. The book received praise from the judges of the 2022 Book Life Prize. “Bricker's novel gives a little bit of everything to the reader in equal measure that produces a full and satisfying story,” they wrote. “She adds a soft touch through the sub-plotlines of the supporting characters that add a refreshing layer to the often-ominous mood of crime-based mysteries.”
