Seedling Sale May 15th and 22nd at Vernon Family Farm

NEWFIELDS__Vernon Family Farm is hosting a seedling sale on May 15 and May 22 in conjunction with Hollister Family Farm.

The sale will include tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, sweet peppers, hot peppers, herbs, greens and more, including a variety of heirloom seedlings. All seedlings are non-GMO and grown without spray. People can order online for the best selection.

“Hollister Family Farm grows some incredible seedlings, and we love working with them to provide more of the Seacoast community with local seedlings,” said Nicole Vernon, who owns the farm with her husband, Jeremiah. “With food prices increasing in grocery stores, this is a great year for people to try growing some of their own vegetables at home.”

Those who plan to buy seedlings should bring a carrying tray, flat or box to carry the potted seedlings home. Vernon Family Farm will also have their own compost for sale.
