Sign the Final Southern District YMCA Steel Beam Feb. 5
The Exeter area YMCA steel beam is ready for your signature.

If you’ve driven past the Exeter facility lately, you know that the steel framing is coming together quickly. The last beam is scheduled to top the project next week!
On Thursday, Feb. 5, community members are invited to sign the final beam of the structure and see it hoisted into place and complete the frame of the building.

NOTES: This is a free outdoor event. The ground is frozen and may be uneven. Individuals with mobility issues are welcome to sign the beam, but should call 603 642 3361 for parking arrangements.
The new YMCA in Exeter is made possible by community support, generosity of donors and a construction loan from the Bank of New Hampshire. Fundraising continues so that the building can open with the least amount of debt so that future membership funds can go directly to provide programs and services for the community and ensure that the YMCA is open to ALL – regardless of ability to pay.
Southern District YMCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides opportunities for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility in the community by offering summer day camp and outdoor education at YMCA Camp Lincoln, YMCA School Age Child Care at 16 before-and/or-after school programs, and a new YMCA facility - with programs and activities for all ages - in Exeter, NH expected to open fall 2015.
