Spooky Folsom Returns

EXETER__Tickets are now available for Spooky Folsom, a haunted happening in downtown Exeter that benefits the Exeter LitFest.

Get your Halloween groove on with your friends at this fall fundraiser for the literary festival held annually the first weekend of April. This year’s event will take place on Oct. 4 from 7 p.m.to 9 p.m. at the Folsom Tavern on Water Street in Exeter.

Guests are encouraged to don costumes for this 21+ event which includes a beer garden and spooky surprises inside the tavern.

Will you dare to visit with the Ghost Busters, stop by a séance or try a specially crafted creation in the potion room? Don’t miss the Lounge of the Undead on the second floor.

Explore the mansion in your fun Halloween costume, then dance to your favorite Halloween tunes in the graveyard while enjoying the backyard beer garden under the darkness of the new moon.

Tickets for Spooky Folsom are $30 and include admission to the haunted tavern. Local beer from Czar’s Brewery will be available for purchase, as well as wine and sodas.

You must be 21 years old or older to purchase tickets. IDs will be checked at the door.

About Exeter LitFest:

The Exeter LitFest aims to shine a spotlight on the wealth of local talent in the Exeter area as well as bringing in featured authors and poets from the region. Events at the literary festival, held in the historic Exeter Town Hall, are always free and open to all.

Held for the first time in 2019, the Exeter LitFest is a 501C-3 non-profit organization that hosts an annual event the first weekend of April. The inaugural festival included a keynote by Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown, as well as events with Joe Hill, Brendan Dubois, and NH Teen Poet Laureate Cate Dixon.
