Sports Medicine Physical Lecture Wednesday

Core Physicians and Exeter Hospital Host Free Lecture on April 22.

The public is invited to attend a free lecture entitled “The Sports Medicine Physical: Preparing for a Healthy Season” this Wednesday, April 22.

It will be presented by Joseph Bernard, DO, of Core Orthopedics, Ernest Podrasky, MD, of Core Cardiology, and Matt Szelog, ATC, CSCS, LAT, CES of the Athletic Performance Center of Exeter Hospital.

The lecture will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the conference room at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Exeter. The presenters will speak about why a sports physical is important, why a cardiac assessment is an important part of a sports physical and information about strength and conditioning for sport specific agility. There will be time for questions following the presentation.
