Spring Music Series at Exeter Public Library

Spring Poets: Barbara Allen to Blackbird with John Perrault

 

Exeter, NH – On Tuesday, April 29 at 6:30pm, past Poet-Laureate of New Hampshire, John Perrault will provide an evening of poetry and song. John will sing lyrics from the world’s greatest musicians and poets. From Burns to Wordsworth, Keats to Frost, Dickinson to Dylan and Mary Oliver to Lennon & McCartney, there is something for everyone in this salute to the romantic tradition of the ballad form. This very special program is sponsored by the New Hampshire Humanities Council (NHHC) and is in celebration of National Poetry Month.

This performance is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Bruce Sloan Reading Area in the Adult Services section of the Exeter Public Library at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
