Stratham Historical Society Awards 2018 Scholarships

STRATHAM......The Stratham Historical Society (SHS) is pleased to announce that the Winfield L. Foote Award for Academic Excellence has been presented this year to five outstanding applicants. The 2018 graduating high school seniors and recipients of the award are as follows:

David Scamman who will be attending Norwich University; Sophie Ropp, attending the University of New Hampshire; Kaley Coburn, attending Thomas College, Elizabeth Philbrook, who will be attending Saint Anselm College and Weston Su, attending Haverford College.

Congratulations to all five of these very deserving students, who will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. We wish them the best in the next chapter of their education.

These awards are made possible each year by the generosity of the late Mr. Winfield L. Foote, a long-time resident of Stratham and a strong supporter of The Stratham Historical Society. To date, the Society has awarded approximately $70,000 to deserving students.
