'Stratham Road Show' Benefit April 10

It's the event's 25th Anniversary and will be held in the Morgera Room of the Stratham Fire Station.

STRATHAM, NH - The Stratham Historical Society will hold its 25th Annual Spring Appraisal Day, affectionately known to its members as the “Stratham Road Show, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2016, or until all guests are served, according to a press statement.

The event, its 25th Anniversary, will be held in the Morgera Room of the Stratham Fire Station. The building is located behind the Historical Society at the corner of Portsmouth Avenue and Winnicutt Road in Stratham, 4 Winnicutt Road.

Highly respected New England appraisers will be available to give verbal appraisals for each item. In attendance will be Caroline French of Caroline L. French Antiques in Dover, and Devin Moisan of Devin Moisan Auctioneers of Dover. Both are experts in appraising a variety of antiques and collectibles including: furniture, works of art, jewelry, military memorabilia, photographs, china, glass, etc. A photo of large items may suffice for evaluation.

A fee of $5 is charged for one item, $8 for two items and $15 for five items. The proceeds of the day’s event will go toward maintaining the Society’s collections and other related expenses.
