Introduce your child to the world of 18th century America through hands-on activities and demonstrations at the American Independence Museum’s Colonial Living History Camp this summer. At this camp, which takes place from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm daily, your child will learn all about the 18th century in a unique, interactive way.
From learning how to cook 18th century treats and discovering tricks to keep a garden green to participating in a military muster as a colonial soldier in the Revolutionary War, the Museum’s Summer Camp makes history fun. The best part about the camp, however, is that your child will have an opportunity to dress in period clothes and participate in the Museum’s annual American Independence Festival, sponsored in part by The Provident Bank and Minuteman Health, on Saturday, July 12.
Recommended for boys and girls, ages 8 to 12, the Colonial Living History Camp is $200 per person for non-members and $175 per person for members. To save on your camp experience and admission to the Festival on July 12th, consider becoming a member today with a family membership for just $50.
