
The local Taoist Tai Chi SocietyÒ is holding an open
house to introduce people to the benefits of the 108 moves of the
Tai Chi set that we practice. Medical studies have shown that Tai Chi can boost
immunity, improve blood flow, prevent bone density loss, ease arthritis pain,
and increase flexibility and balance. The exercise incorporates stretching and
turning into a sequence of slow, rhythmic movements that improve the health of
body, mind, and spirit; can be learned at any age; and can be performed
throughout a lifetime.
