Teen Summer Reading Begins @ Exeter Public Library
Exeter Public Library's Teen Summer Reading Program Begins June 22nd
Exeter Public Library invites teen members of the library entering grades 6 & up to participate in the library’s 2015 Young Adult Summer Reading Program. Teens can sign up to participate in a variety of fun, challenging, and informative activities throughout the summer. Programs will include; a free Teen Rock Concert, a free Ice Cream Making and Cupcake decorating class, a class on how to decorate a Summer T-shirt and Beach Backpack- for free, the library’s first ever cooking competition- Master Chef Teen, and the library’s first Chocolate Festival-where over 11 pounds of chocolate will be used to display different chocolate techniques. Teens are encouraged to visit the library’s Teen Scene where they are invited to play board games, answer trivia questions, solve a weekly literary crime scene, and just hang out and have a great time. Every week there will be multiple chances for teens to win prizes, so the more teens visit the library, the more teens will win! Thank you to the following generous sponsors; On the Vine Marketplace, Twin Lantern’s Dairy Bar, Water Street Books, and Just the Wright Place for Ice Cream for helping make Exeter Public Library the place for teens to be this summer.
