
Bold thieves this week entered an Exeter home while a family was sleeping and stole cash, a victim said.
Police are investigating the incident, as well as several similar thefts in town.
The victim, who asked for anonymity, said the incident happened late Tuesday night at a home on Exeter Farms Road.

"It's obviously very unnerving," the victim said.
The thieves entered the home through an unlocked door. They stole cash from wallets on the kitchen counter, then took a car key and opened one of the family's cars and stole more cash there, the victim said.

Police said thieves also hit homes in the Hunter Place neighborhood.
Police urged homeowners to lock their homes and vehicles.
