Thousands of Seacoast Residents Lose Power

Thousands of Seacoast residents are without power on Tuesday night, and the electric utilities said they aren't sure yet when service will be restored.
At about 9:45 p.m., Unitil reported about 1,200 customers—mostly in Hampton and Stratham—were without power. Those customers had power restored by 11 p.m.
At 11 p.m., Public Service of New Hampshire reported 5,027 customers were without power. Below is a breakdown by community:
- Rye: 2,117
- Portsmouth: 1,779
- North Hampton: 741
- Greenland: 122
