In partnership with Veterans Count and Service Credit Union, the Museum is participating in a new exhibit in Portsmouth, NH. Free and open to the public from May 18th - May 29th, this is a wonderful and rare chance to see some of the Museum's most treasured items - from our Dunlap Broadside copy of the Declaration of Independence to draft copies of the United States Constitution and our Purple Heart awarded by George Washington on view.
In partnering with Service Credit Union to present the exhibit, the Museum is taking a more active role in “bringing history to life.”
“We are very excited to take part in Service Credit Union’s mission to honor veterans now and in the past as part of its Salute Our Soldiers gala event,” said the Museum’s Executive Director Julie Williams. “This exhibit represents a very rare and unique opportunity to bring to the public historical artifacts with unparalleled historical significance.
