T-Storms Wreak Havoc on Seacoast

Power thunderstorms Thursday afternoon wreaked havoc on the Seacoast.

There were several reports of lightning hitting houses—including one in Exeter.

The storms cut power to a host of communities in the region. At about 3:45 p.m., there were 525 customers without power in Brentwood, according to Public Service of New Hampshire.

The entire state was under a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m.

Rain was expected to continue on and off through Friday morning at about 6 a.m. Things will clear up that day. Saturday and Sunday will feature sunny skies, with high temperatures in the 70s.
