Two More Charged in Exeter Murder

Accused murderer Aaron Desjardins' new wife and his sister were arrested Wednesday night.

Two additional arrests have been made in connection with the murder of Amy Warf of Hampton last month in Exeter, the Attorney General's office announced Thursday.

Sarah Desjardins, 34, of 67 Railroad Avenue, Epping, was arrested Wednesday night and charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder and one count of conspiracy to commit hindering apprehension or prosecution in connection with Warf's death, according to the Attorney General. She is the wife of Aaron Desjardins, Warf's ex-husband, who has been charged with Warf's murder and continues to be held without bail.

Sarah Desjardins was ordered held on $250,000 bail following her arraignment Thursday.

Also arrested Wednesday night was Aaron Desjardins' sister, Michele Corson, 43, of 373 Water St., Skowhegan, Maine. She is charged with one count of fugitive from justice. The Attorney General's office has also obtained arrest warrants charging Corson with conspiracy to commit murder and accomplice to first degree murder in connection with Warf's death.

Corson is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in either Skowhegan District Court or Somerset Superior Court in Skowhegan, Maine.

Aaron Desjardins, 36, of Epping, was arrested last month and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Warf's death. Warf was found dead in the abandoned City Concrete Co. factory in Exeter. Firefighters discovered her body after putting out a fire in the building. Investigators said Aaron Desjardins killed her by slashing her neck.

Desjardins waived a probable cause hearing last month, during which his bail would have been up for discussion. His case will now go before a grand jury for possible indictment—the step before a trial.
