About 80 singers of all ages on Saturday auditioned for "Seacoast Idol 2012" at .
They are vying for a $1,000 grand prize.
Volunteers from the – the group trying to revive Exeter's historic Ioka theater – helped organize the auditions. The hope is to someday have the auditions at the Ioka when it reopens.
