Victoria Arlen, Exeter Paralympic Champ, Honored by Boston Bruins [VIDEO]
Arlen dropped the ceremonial puck at the team's home game Tuesday.
Victoria Arlen, an Exeter High School student who won a gold medal in the 2012 London Paralympics, was invited by the Boston Bruins to drop the ceremonial puck at their home game Tuesday.

Arlen, 18, is a senior at Exeter High. She lost the use of her legs after being afflicted with the spinal cord disease transverse myelitis.

At the Paralympics, Arlen set a world record and won a gold medal in the 100-meter freestyle event. She also earned three silver medals in other events.
Former Gov. John Lynch declared a "Victoria Arlen Day" in New Hampshire to recognize her accomplishments, and the swimmer was recently honored by U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH.
