Voting Session on $15.7M School Budget
The budget represents a 2.4 increase over the previous year's.
A deliberative session on the $15.7 million budget for the Exeter School District will be held Tuesday.
The session, in which voters can approve the budget as is or make changes to it, will be held at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Street School.

Several additional spending measures in the form of warrant articles will also be reviewed. Those measures include:
- $86,619 for increases to salaries and benefits for the Exeter Paraprofessionals Association—a union for aides and assistants—for 2013-2014. The union's contract also calls for increases of $74,959 and $72,679, respectively, in the two years following.
- $373,673 for Exeter taxpayer's share of a bond payment for the Cooperative Middle School building.

After the deliberative session, the budget will be subject to a town-wide vote during the March 12 election.
