Wanted Man Sees Himself on TV, Surrenders

A local man wanted by U.S. Marshals decided to turn himself in after seeing himself featured on television as a "Fugitive of the Week," authorities said.
Andrew Reeves, 30, was last known to be living in Epping and Raymond. He surrendered Thursday afternoon.
"He indicated that he had decided to turn himself in upon seeing his picture on television and had also received several phone calls from concerned friends and relatives," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Jeffrey White in a statement.

Reeves was wanted for violating conditions of his supervised release. He was originally convicted on firearm-related charges, White said.
The "Fugitive of the Week" program is featured on WTPL-FM, WMUR-TV, the Union Leader, the Nashua Telegraph, and local websites.

"The ‘Fugitive of the Week’ program has been extremely successful this year and has led to numerous arrests and surrenders of fugitives," said U.S. Marshal David Cargill in a statement. "We are very thankful for the contributions of both the media and the public, which has helped to make this program the success that it is."
