Water Problem Causes Damage at Shaw's

A water leak caused damage to the Shaw's grocery store in Stratham Sunday night.

Firefighters responded to the scene at about 7:30 p.m.

Several water problems were reported across the Seacoast this weekend as temperatures rose to about 40 degrees Sunday after a stretch of subzero weather. Freezing weather often leads to burst pipes.

One way to prevent burst pipes is to leave a trickle of water flowing.
