Woman Charged in Rx Drug Scheme

An Exeter woman this week was charged with using fake prescriptions at pharmacies across the county to try and obtain prescription drugs illegally.

Susan Pignato, 50, of 1 Linden Fields Rd, Exeter, was arrested this week by the Drug Diversion section of the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics & Investigations Unit. She was charged with obtaining a controlled drug by fraud.

Police said she used fake doctor notes at pharmacies across Rockingham County.

Pignato was released on bail is is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 2.

  • Stephanie Mann, 37, of 153 Middlesex Rd., Merrimack
  • Julie Gilbody, 47, of 11 Allds Street, Nashua
  • John Fabiano, 27, of 88 West Sixth St., Lowell, Mass.
  • Patricia Drake, 46, of Route 132 North #590, New Hampton
