A 5K Walk-a-Thon will be held Thursday to benefit Steve Shope, a local man who was seriously injured in a mountain biking accident in Exeter this year.
The walk starts at the Newfields Fire Department Thursday, Aug. 22 at 5:30 p.m. The fee is $20. Proceeds will support Shope's recovery.
