• Officials: New Hampshire ocean rescues declined in 2026 (wmur.com) — Lifeguards are still on duty at Hampton Beach even as many New Hampshire seacoast beaches scale back coverage after Labor Day, and officials say ocean rescues are down this year. State Beach Patrol leaders credit calmer weather and urge swimmers to choose guarded beaches and check with lifeguards about changing surf conditions.
