2 Killed In North Hampton House Fire

NORTH HAMPTON, NH — A child and an adult were killed in a fire at a two-family home, according to fire officials. Firefighters were called to a house on Lovering Road at 8:12 p.m. Friday.

Fire officials said they were able to rescue one person from the building before they began extinguishing the flames. Firefighters then found the adult and child inside the house. The victims were rushed to the hospital where both succumbed to their injuries.

The identities of the victims have yet to be released.

The state Fire Marshal's office and State Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
