River Run Bancorp Promotes Eastman To Vice President, Advertising & Social Media Manager

NEWBURYPORT, MA — River Run Bancorp announced April 8 that Jennifer Eastman has been promoted to vice president, advertising and social media manager.

The bank said Eastman had played a leadership role in advancing its marketing strategy and brand presence across its banking platforms. In her role, she develops and manages paid advertising campaigns, social media strategy, and integrated marketing initiatives to strengthen brand awareness and customer engagement.

Eastman oversees media buying and vendor relationships, manages advertising budgets and campaign planning, and leads social media strategy for River Run and its banks. The organization also said she works to maintain brand consistency across branch signage and digital channels while supporting community relations and public-facing marketing efforts.

“Jen has demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity and strategic insight in strengthening our brands and expanding our digital presence,” Vickie Routhier, chief marketing officer, said. “Her ability to connect our banks with customers and communities through thoughtful campaigns and storytelling has made a meaningful impact across the River Run organization.”

Eastman said the promotion reflects work she sees as tied to customers and local communities.

“I’m passionate about creating meaningful connections that help customers and communities better understand what we offer — not just as a bank, but as a committed community partner,” said Eastman. “In my expanded role, I’m excited to bring the perspective and skills I’ve gained through my diverse background to continue building on that work.”

River Run said Eastman holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Writing and Psychology and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking leadership program.

Outside her professional role, River Run said Eastman serves as co-chair of the Winning Opportunities for Women committee at the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Exchange Club of Haverhill. She lives in Newton with her spouse, Aaron, their children, Meghan and Eve, and their dogs Cooper and Callie.

River Run Bancorp, MHC was established in 2023, according to the announcement. The organization said it provides strategic support and shared resources to Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust, and reported collective assets of $3.6 Billion.
