GRAY, ME — As the song goes, "When the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame, I haven't got time for the waiting game…"
But you will not have to wait for crisp fall conditions, since they will be here this week.
Expect mostly sunny skies on Tuesday with highs in the mid-to-lower-60s and a light northwest wind in the Capital Region and central and southern New Hampshire. It will be a bit blustery on the Seacoast with wind gusts reaching 20 mph. Overnight, temps will drop into the upper 30s or lower 40s.
Similar weather is forecast for Wednesday, with wind gusts up to 20 mph inland and 30 mph on the Seacoast. Overnight lows will be in the lower 40s.
On Thursday, expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-60s and lows in the mid-40s during the evening and early morning hours.
Rain is expected to return on Friday, with showers expected throughout the weekend.
