Bank Donates $500 to Support 'Read to Me'

The family event is at Winnacunnet High School next week.

The Provident Bank is pleased to support the Hampton Rotary and Seabrook P.E.A.K.S.’s (Partners Encouraging Aspirations for Kids Success) “Read to Me” Literacy Project.

The initiative is designed to encourage parents in Hampton, Hampton Falls, North Hampton and Seabrook to read aloud to their babies and preschoolers daily. Studies have shown that a baby who is read to will have an earlier understanding of language and sounds and may perform better in school as they grow up.
