Barnes: Tweedie is the Type of Person I Want to Represent Us in Concord
Hampton Selectwoman: Republican will be a state Senator who is not afraid to ask questions to better understand the issues.

HAMPTON, NH — Ray Tweedie’s experience working on local issues and his involvement in our communities has prepared him for the task of being our next state Senator.
In Hampton, Ray has been everywhere talking to local officials, town employees, and our police and fire departments to get an idea of what issues face our community. I have already met with him to talk about possible solutions to our water and sewer infrastructure. He has experience with these issues and more at the town level.
This is exactly the type of person I want to represent us in Concord — someone who cares about the communities they serve, someone who is involved at the local level, and someone who is not afraid to ask questions to better understand the issues.

Ray not only is out there visiting the communities he wishes to serve, he is the only candidate with any experience at the local level and served on the Rye Planning Board.
Ray Tweedie recently released a list of three dozen community leaders who are backing his candidacy because they also believe he is the best candidate to take care of our district in Concord. They include Selectmen, Planning Board members, Budget committee members, local businesspeople and elected officials, like retiring Sen. Nancy Stiles, who already serve us in Concord.
