Body Found In Hampton Harbor Matches Description Of Missing Man

Officials say Roland "Kenny" Beaudry, missing since Friday morning, matches the description of a man found on a harbor beach on Saturday.

HAMPTON, NH — A body found in Hampton Harbor on Saturday matches the description of a vulnerable man, in his 50s, missing since Friday.

Roland “Kenny” Beaudry, 52, of Hampton was last seen around 7 a.m., walking in the marsh area by Tuttle Avenue, in the middle of a snowstorm. Deputy Police Chief Alex Reno, in an alert, described him as a “vulnerable” person who might be in mental distress.

After issuing emergency alerts, police searched the area with a K-9 as well as New Hampshire State Police troopers and the New Hampshire Fish & Game Department assisting but were unable to find Beaudry.

On Saturday, police, fish and game, and New Hampshire Marine Patrol were out again in the morning, searching the area as well as the harbor.

Around 9:15 a.m., police received a call from a Harbor Road resident reporting the body of a man on the beach near his home, about a quarter of a mile from where Beaudry was last seen. Officials went to examine the body and said he matched Beaudry’s description, according to Lt. McLain of the Marine Patrol.
