There is “formal logic”, “informal logic”, “mathematical logic”, “symbolic logic”. And for gun advocates, there is “convenient” logic.
Let me get their argument straight! if I want to buy a gun from a dealer he will do a background check which has been the case for years. Most of us law abiding citizens are ok with that and our names have not shown up on some government registry or database and by law will not.

If I want to buy a gun on-line or at a gun show any attempt to check me out is
an infringement of my rights? How can background checks be ok for 60% of gun
purchase but not ok for the other 40%? What is it about gun show and internet
sales that change the nature of my rights?

Two actions that will make us all safer. As seen on all the networks an Al-Qaeda message exhorts it’s followers to buy guns on-line or at gun shows by asking “what are you waiting for”?

Nobody knows exactly how many people have been killed with weapons purchased by terrorists and traffickers but I would be willing to bet it is many more than Newtown, Aurora and Columbine combined.
The gun advocates conveniently forget these deaths when they focus their
criticism solely on school shootings.
I guess we don’t want to inconvenience anyone with a background check after they have gone to the trouble of driving to a gun show or powering up their pc even if it may prevent thousands of others from being murdered.
