Friends of the Lane Library Book Sale
Thousands of books for sale. Proceeds support the Lane Memorial Library, Hampton.
The Friends of the Lane Memorial Library (2 Academy Ave, Hampton) are holding their semi-annual book sale June 6-8. Dates and times are as follows:
- Thursday, June 6, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Friday, June 7, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Saturday, June 8, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon
On Saturday only, you may purchase a Friends Book Bag for $6 (or 2 for $10) at the door, and fill it once for free.

“Members Only” night is Wednesday, June 5, 5:00 pm -7:30 pm. Memberships can be purchased at the door.
The sale includes thousands of books in fiction, history, biography, cookbooks, humor, sports, children’s, self-help, religion, decorating, and more, as well as books on CD, music CDs and movies on DVD.

All proceeds will be used by the Friends to help support the Lane Memorial Library's programs.
The Friends will also be raffling off a Kindle e-book reader at the book sale.
