Get Hopping to Hampton Rec's Easter Egg Dig

Thousands of eggs will be hidden in the sands of Hampton Beach.

The Easter Bunny will be making his annual visit to Hampton Beach when Hampton Recreation hosts their annual Easter Egg Dig on Saturday, March 31 at 11 a.m.

The event will take place on the beach across from the , located on Ocean Boulevard.

Thousands of colorful, prize-filled eggs will be hidden in the sand, including several golden eggs that could mean very special prizes for the children who find them.

Participants should bring their pails and shovels with them and, because this activity takes place outdoors on the beach, they should dress accordingly.

There is no charge to participate in this program, which is open to Hampton children ages 12 and under. For more information, call Hampton Recreation at 926-3932.

In addition, an Easter Bunny Breakfast hosted by the Village Preschool will take place prior to the Easter Egg Dig from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at Hobbs House, located at 200 High Street in Hampton. The public is invited to attend, and the proceeds raised at the breakfast will benefit the school.
